A charming snake brooch from the Victorian era. Designed as the head of a snake appearing through a trefoil motif of gold. The head of the snake is principally set with a chunky old cut diamond to the centre and surrounded by smaller single cut diamonds. The snakes head is further embellished with cabochon emeralds for eyes. Clutched between his teeth is a freshwater pearl which is beautifully suspended from a diamond set cap. Set in silver on gold to an 18ct gold pin.
